Disconnect to Reconnect
I used to think that when I was tired or my brain was fuzzy, I just needed to keep on doing and going and moving and forging ahead to get everything done.
Boy, was I wrong!
Not stopping for a regular break only added to my stress, anxiety, and feelings of overwhelm. How about you?
Now, when I’m tired or my brain is fuzzy, I take a break. Take a quick walk. Go drink a glass of water. Take a nap, even! :)
Seriously, it is ok to... d-i-s-c-o-n-n-e-c-t
to r-e-c-o-n-n-e-c-t.
