Please tell me why we like to make things so complicated? At the conclusion of my workshops and classes, I ask the participants to pick one simple stress-buster and inevitably, someone picks 2, 3, or maybe even 4 things?! That's not ONE thing that is more than one! (insert exasperated look here)
Why only one thing? Our brains can only focus on one thing at a time. My best advice is find one thing that you like doing to bring your stress down ... it could be taking 3 deep breaths with your eyes closed, 10 jumping jacks, or maybe cranking up the music and dancing.
Feeling stressed? overwhelmed? ... do your one thing. Less stress guaranteed! Easy peasy!
