What Rita Wants You to Know...

 

 

She understands.

She understands what it is like to feel so overwhelmed that it feels like the walls are caving in on you.

She understands what it is like to overanalyze to the point of being paralyzed.

She understands what it’s like to be so exhausted, you might find yourself asking, ”Wouldn’t be easier if I just wasn’t here anymore”.

She understands the daily wardrobe choice of “CRABBY” pants (just ask her husband & kids).

She understands not feeling good enough, worth it, and feeling self no-value.

AND

She also understands how to move out of overwhelm slowly, simply, and one step at a time.

She also understands that sometimes you just need to take a moment to pause, reset, and relax before moving forward.

She also understands being aware of suicidal thoughts is a SIGN of something bigger and knows to reach out for help.

She also understands it is a process to move out from underneath your poop pile.

Most importantly, she KNOWS it can be done, she is not alone, and has a community of support.

Her almost 40 years of western and eastern healthcare experience combined with numerous traumatic life challenges, not only gives her a very unique skillset, but the depth to understand life can be a struggle. She has lived it and “gets it”. She gets it because she has lived through it and knows it is possible to find a way to get to back to feeling and acting like YOU.

Her book, Simple Self-Care Saved Me!, details her journey and how she was able to move forward onto a healthier path and lead her to where she is now.

Rita is authentic, real, and often tells it like it is - in no uncertain terms. Through sarcasm, humor, and her “science nerd” self, she helps you connect the dots between why you feel so CRAPPY and helps you move closer to HAPPY.

Her passion is teaching workshops, lunch and learns, along with sharing her point of view and simple stress-busting solutions with large audiences.

She lives in Charlotte, NC with her husband and two beautiful teenage daughters (stress anyone?!) and her loving fur-babies.

 

Simply stated... 

self-care is about
self-preservation
NOT self-indulgence.
