FACT: The stronger your self-care, the stronger your resilience, AND the better you will COPE with the stressors of everyday life and threats to your mental health. 

This week is Social Wellness and it’s all about the connection with others, feeling a sense of belonging, and developing a strong support system. 

Let’s face it… the pandemic has taken its toll on wanting to make connections at times so make sure you haven’t gotten into the habit of self-isolating and avoiding contact with others.

Simple ways to improve your social wellness…

> Call up a friend you haven’t talked to in awhile

> Reconnect with an old friend

> Plan a coffee “date”... even if it has to be virtual

 > Meet up for a bite to eat, a drink, or just to chat.

 > Plan a simple get-together at your home

> Be spontaneous and invite a friend to dinner or a walk

My challenge this week for you is to be intentional about working on your social wellness. Strengthen connections you already have or maybe start some new ones.
