Simple Change

"Everybody wants to change the world, nobody wants to change the toilet paper. Be the change."

This sign was a gift from one of my daughters on Mother’s Day and makes me smile every time I read it. (If you are a parent, you KNOW that the empty toilet paper roll rarely gets changed! LOL)

The bigger message in this little sign for me is to keep positive change simple. 

Wanting to change the world is a HUGE task and let’s face it, rather daunting and overwhelming so why not start with something simple and small, right?! 

Make a simple change today with the goal in mind to have a larger impact on others.

Think… the “trickle-effect”. Do something kind or positive in hopes that those you reach will do the same and pass it on to those that they meet.

Want to start the day off feeling happier and healthier? Start with a small change in your morning routine. Eat a good breakfast. Get up on time. Plan the night ahead. Start the day with a positive word or mantra to have a more positive mindset.

Say good morning to a stranger. Give someone an unexpected compliment. Pay for someone else’s coffee at Starbucks. Smile.

My challenge this week for you my friend is to find a simple change to make your day or someone else's day just a little happier and more positive.

Yes. It can even be as easy as changing the empty toilet paper roll to decrease frustration in your household.
