We so often get caught up in thinking about the future that we forget to take time to be intentionally here at this moment.
Spending too much time thinking about and planning the future can lead to anxiety and feelings of overwhelm which can show up as irritability, short temper, procrastination, worry, and fatigue.
A simple reminder this week… are you spending enough time in the moment to keep your anxiety down?
Deep breaths while wiggling your toes, looking outside and checking the weather (is it just hot or really hot? Lol - if you live in Charlotte, NC, it sure is!), put on some lively music and “shake it”, or just get up and stretch. Find something simple that can s-l-i-d-e into your busy schedule every day.
Remember to make time for and take your simple self-care moments to be “where your feet are, where your breath is, where your power lives”.
