Take that break. Take that nap. Take that trip. Take what you need because the world will take everything from you. If you don't take care of yourself.

Happy Tuesday! This is your reality check and the quote pretty much says it all.

Your self-care mission this week is to ask yourself, “What does MY self-care look like?” and finding 2-3 self-care tools you can and will put into action this week.

Different things resonate with each of us so it is important to find self-care tools you like to do and WILL do! 

What works the best when you need to decompress? Is it…?

  • Taking a walk
  • Listening to music and/or dancing
  • Taking a nap
  • Journaling
  • Box breathing
  • Taking a physiological sigh or 2 or 3
  • Working out
  • Saying positive affirmations
  • Doing a yoga pose or two
  • Reading scripture
  • Taking an intentional pause to engage one of your senses
  • Changing your environment
  • Reading fiction
  • Stopping to enjoy a good cup of coffee or tea or chocolate
  • Your choice?
